[Suzu had thought she'd be over the moon to have the apartment to herself, what with both tenants sticking around out of sheer stubborness and spite, but... not if it was like this. Especially not like this, with Koga clearly not having a good time. Honestly, the situation hit a bit too close to home, and as a result, she felt that the place had gotten more quiet... Too quiet, for that matter, and she never quite liked silence in the first place.
So, she decides to pay a visit to the Coven, a familiar corgi nestled in her arms.]
... Yo, Koggy. [An unusually normal greeting, compared to the more often-used, "The sun's tyranny has ended for a moment's respite, ku ku ku☆"... with considerably lesser levels of volume, on top of that.] Thought I'd bring Leon in to see ya.
[As a joke, she takes one of the dog's front paws into her hand and wiggles it a little to mimic waving. Because yeah, this is totally just for Leon, like many times before. It's not like she's checking on him or anything, it's not like she worries or cares particularly about what's going to happen to her stupid roommate---]
[ they aren't close. they aren't friends (no one is, not his, independent wolf and all of that), or classmates, or unitmates, or even go to the same school. they're barely acquaintances, but they're housemates, and for a boy who has lived the past year all by himself with his trusted dog, it's something...— not special, no, but past their many disagreements and how loud they'd yell at each other, there's something else there, too. maybe because the only girl koga has been used to talking with is anzu, and he feels in debt with her. maybe because this chick is so goddamn short. maybe because he's far too ill, and the sight of suzu and leon together makes him soft. ]
Hey there, boy. Hope I ain't makin' ya worry much.
[ there's a headpat for leon, who undoubtedly cheers koga's spirits up, and distracts him even for a moment from how much he didn't want suzu to see him like this. it isn't fair to her, to worry about some guy she's not close with. and judging by leon's health, too, she has been taking care of him well enough.
what a fucking good roommate he is, huh. ]
Thanks for bringin' him. You managin' the house all by yourself? It's what you wanted from the start, so bet you're having the goddamn time of your life, huh.
Hah? Quit spoutin' stupid shit; what kinda sick fuck wishes for it to happen like this? Even a rebellious fallen angel like me's got standards, dude.
[Just her weird, roundabout way of saying that no, she is in fact not enjoying being alone in the apartment with only Leon and a bucketful of beckos to keep her company. Yeah, she touts being a loner as much as he does, but she's pretty much gotten used to his presence back at the apartment, to the point his absence felt more weird than exciting.
... Having someone suddenly not around after seeing them almost every day was never a pleasant feeling for her, even if this wasn't the first time.
She sets Leon down on an empty spot to the bed and lets him do his own thing, and pulls herself a stool to sit on. Her expression is oddly downcast as she rubs the back of her head awkwardly.]
Gotta say, I didn't expect to be doin' what pretty much amounts to bein' a hospital visit in this world too. Though, unlike back in our world, I dunno how to be of much help... How're you holdin' up?
